Apple Pie

So here is what you need: (10 people)
The dough
125 g of Butter
140 g of egg whites
70 g of sugar cane
250 g of macaroons
80 g of spelt flour (you can use wheat flour in stead)
Fill and extra:
3 medium sized apples
70 g blanched almonds
Whipped cream
The dough: Turn on the oven to 160 degrees Celsius hot air. Melt the butter and let it cool off. Stir the egg whites foamy. Then add the sugar little by little while stirring it until your mass is stiff like meringue. Crush the macaroons roughly and add them carefully into the meringue together with the flour and cooled butter. Put half of your dough on the baking dish with baking paper in between. Even it out.
The fill: Peel the apples and remove the seeds. Cut the apples into half cm slices and put them on top of the dough. Put the rest of the dough evenly on top of the apples. Sprinkle roughly chopped almonds on top. Bake the cake for approximately an hour in the middle of the oven.
Serve the pie with whipped cream ?
